Go to Tournaments → Host a tournament. Choose online or in person, set format and schedule, pick free or paid entry, then publish. For paid platform events you add a PayPal email in Wallet for prize payouts before going live. Walk through the wizard — it is a few short steps.

Many events require check-in shortly before start so no-shows can be removed. If you miss check-in you may be dropped. The tournament page shows the check-in window.

How does payment work?

Nerkco uses prepaid credits called nibs (1 nib ≈ $1 of platform credit). Buy packs with PayPal and spend them on paid matches or tournament entry. Purchased Nibs and promo bonuses are for play only and cannot be withdrawn. Winning with purchased stakes can create eligible winnings, which you can withdraw after verification.

Nibs are prepaid platform credits — not cash in a bank account. Use them for eligible paid matches and tournaments. Available to play can include purchased, promo, and earned value. Available to withdraw shows only eligible winnings and organizer fees — not every balance on Nerkco.

What does “locked in escrow” mean?

When you post or accept a paid match (or pay certain entry fees), your stake is reserved until the match finishes, cancels cleanly, or is released under platform rules. Locked nibs cannot be spent or withdrawn until released.

Open Wallet in settings, pick a pack, and complete PayPal checkout. Balance updates when payment confirms. Agree to the Nibs Wallet Terms and site Terms before purchasing.

If you are a US person and receive reportable prize amounts, Nerkco may ask you to submit Form W-9 in Wallet before further withdrawals. Reportable prizes are issued on IRS information returns when amounts qualify. You are responsible for your own tax filings. The form only appears when it is required for your account.

Can I get a refund on nibs I bought?

Purchased nibs are generally final except where law requires a refund or Nerkco approves one. Cancelling an open paid listing with no opponent releases your locked stake back to balance — that is not a card refund.

Open Run It / Match Finder for a game. Turn on Open to Challenge so others can find you, challenge someone in the lounge, or start Instant Challenge to enter a queue. Results can count toward ladder rating when the format allows it.

What is the difference between Open to Challenge and Instant Challenge?

Open to Challenge puts you in the lounge so others can tap Challenge. Instant Challenge builds a queue listing so the system (or opponents) can pair you for a match. You can use both.

When cash play is enabled for your region, choose a stake. Both sides lock nibs in escrow. When the result is final, the winner receives the payout minus any platform fee shown before you commit.
